Removing a “Fish Mouth” Gap From a Quickseam Cover Strip
Step 1 -Squeeze with your fingers or attempt to hand roll the “fish mouth” gap to the edge of the QuickSeam Cover Strip.
Step 2 -If the gap forms a void all the way under the tape to the overlap’s edge; tape over and beyond the void with a patch of QuickSeam Cover Strip.
Notes:
1. Make sure to extend the tape a minimum of 3" on all sides.
2. Caulk if necessary
